CODE OF CONDUCT

 All members of The Latino Franchise Association (LFA) recognize that membership is a privilege that brings with it individual and collective responsibility to assure that by joining the LFA each member understands, agrees and commits following the code of conduct. The code of conduct shall require members to understand support and promote the Vision,  Mission, and Values of the Latino Franchise Association:

  1. RESPECT FOR ALL INDIVIDUALS
    1. Listen to what everyone has to say.
    2. Pay attention to nonverbal communication.
    3. Practice transparency.
    4. Recognize the strengths and accomplishments of others.
    5. Value the time and workloads of others.
    6. Delegate meaningful work.
    7. Practice common courtesy and politeness.
    8. Respecting members' work and thoughts even if they are different from yours.
    9. Engage and be proactive with the group.
    10. Value others’ time and efforts.
    11. Be accountable, responsible and responsive.
  2. PROMOTE ALL MEMBER’S BUSINESS AS WELL AND YOUR OWN BUSINESS
    1. Share your knowledge with others based on your experience.
    2. Seek advice and share your experience from and to  other members WIN-WIN is the golden rule.
  3. KEEP GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL INFORMATION CONFIDENTIAL:
    1. LFA members agree to keep information confidential. If an information is privileged, then marking "Privileged and Confidential" in the information such as email subject line and/or at the top of the email body is the best way to signal that we understand and believe it is covered by privilege.
  4. IF THERE IS AN ISSUE BETWEEN MEMBERS, DO YOUR BEST TO SETTLE IT WITHIN:
    1. LFA members are strongly encouraged to dispute their disagreements in the spirit of brotherhood and without litigation. All LFA members agree to make a proactive effort to resolve any disagreement without litigation.

To protect the reputation of the Latino Franchise Association (LFA) and the reputations of all its members, failure to abide by the Code of Conduct may result in the suspension or termination of membership as determined by the board.
